Logan David Brooks
01/30/81 - 02/23/05

Logan was a revolutionary.
An Anarchist.  A vegan.
A believer in the ability of the human race to establish true freedom, true equality, for all; human and non-human.
He was my husband, my life, my love.

Logan's Library and Roving Radical Infoshop was started by Logan as an Infoshop but after his death I turned it into a library, wanting to keep it sacred for our children.  Logan devoured books like most people devour the air that sustains them.  He took all the knowledge found in them and used it to spread Anarchism, Love, and Peace.  Other endeavours of his included Critical Resistance, St. Pete Food Not Bombs, St. Pete for Peace.  He helped out with the Mid-Pinellas Homeless Outreach Center and the Uhuru Movement.  He worked tirelessly to end all oppression, especially that perpetrated by the United States Government all around the world.

I will never know what books Logan would have ordered for the Infoshop, beyond those that he'd already got.  I hope that the directions I've taken it in are okay with him!

Logan left his physical body on February 23rd 2005 after a 4 day battle to overcome the massive brain trauma that he received from a car crash.  He was on his way home from an organizing meeting for a March 19th anti-oppression rally held in Williams Park, St. Petersburg.  He is missed sooo much.   To learn more about this amazing man, you can go to his Livejournal account or his MySpace account.    The Livejournal account was started by him and includes his thoughts up to his death (entries prior to Feb. 23rd 2005) and is updated by me (entries since) with writings he left in composition books and pictures of him.  The MySpace account gives a great breakdown of his interests.  He was and is a Beautiful Man.  The best husband a girl could ever ask for, the best father any child could ever dream of.

Come visit the library at its home base or on its travels around town and share some of the love that was Logan David Brooks.
